BIOGRAPHY

I want to depict, analyze and discuss learnt behavior and social norms. How they have been created and how they affect our self image and interaction with each other. Questions about identity and alienation are reoccurring themes in my work.

I was born in the summer of 1989 outside of Göteborg in Sweden. It has always been a great passion of mine to make up stories. In my childhood I spent most of my time drawing comics and writing short stories. My dream was to become a writer. As I grew older I became more interested in film and music.

Today I'm an educated Script-Writer and work as a filmmaker. I've studied filmmaking at Fridhem Folkhögskola and Script-writing at Broby Grafiska Yrkeshögskola. I've also studied one semester of Gender studies at the University of Göteborg.

On the side of my film work I also make music.

THE YELLOWBIRD GRANT - Vårrullen Film Festival 2012
- Winner of THE YELLOWBIRD GRANT 2012 with "När. Var."/"Where. When."

-1st prize in swedish championship in one minute film with "Musigalen"/"Mad Music"

BEST MALE ACTOR - Sveriges Kortfilmsfestival 2012
- Best male actor awarded to DENNIS WENNBERG for his role in "När. Var."/"Where. When."

2nd PRIZE WINNER OF HEAVYWEIGHT - Pixel Film Festival 2012
with "När. Var."/"Where. When."
